On Tuesday 15th July 2 teams spent the day in the 2 local primary schools in Hamilton. Teaching the children songs, and drama throughout the day. In one school we ended the day in a whole school production of the story of Zacchaeus.
Even though Zacchaeus was an unpopular cheating tax collector, Jesus invited himself into his home. Once he met Jesus Zacchaeus was a changed man – and gave away his money to the poor and to those he had cheated. As one child said, “even though he was bad, Jesus loved Zacchaeus”.
